It's not just because of our religion but if you really think it very well, it's like killing a human.
Abortion is totally a mortal sin because you are trying to erase a certain being to live in this world and to experience how wonderful life is. Abortion is really common nowadays and I couldn't help but being sad about it.
I have known some friends who have done abortion and I couldn't really do something or help those unborn child, my words isn't enough to encourage those friends of mine to stop doing it, so definitely a sad.
Let us stop this abortion and hopefully those woman will realize that. If they don't want to abort, then they should not engage to those pre-marital sex.

I totally agree. If one doesnot like to hve a child, its the best thing to avoid having unprotected sex than to kill the child that shouldhave been born. Its almost lik a murder. Murdering your own child even when it has not even opened its eyes to see you! As long as you do not wish to have a kid, use protection. There are many million pills and protective precautions that can be used to avoid giving birth to a child. Why still resorting to get pregnant and abort it?
I believe that for me Religion has something to do with it, but if I wasn't religious I would still be 100% against abortion. It is wrong to murder (everyone agrees with that since it is a law), yet you can kill an innocent child - how horrible! If I were a doctor, there is no way that I could ever even think about performing an abortion - I know that they might say it is part of their job, but it doesn't have to be!
You are exactly right, it is killing a human. In fact it is worse, it is killing an innocent human who is completely helpless.
I am sorry to hear that your friends have gone through it, but I am proud that you told them what you thought, even though I know it was hard to do. I too have had some friends who didn't listen to me and got abortions, but I can tell you they terribly regret it and they have told me so several times.
Not getting pregnant = not having sex ---> I don't see what is so complicated about that! If you are not ready for a child, then you better take precautions!
