I think that a lot of the reason people consider abortion is fear - fear that they will not be good parents, fear that a baby will change their freedom, fear of what peope will say. Those fears are legitamite. What we need to do is support those women who ar experiencing fear and show them that the fear of having a baby is nothing compaired with the fear of going through an abortion. I know a woman who went through an abortion at a young age. She has never been able to get over that one choice she made so long ago. To this day she is a very bitter and pitiful woman. Abortion may make some fears go away - but what you would be left with would be much worse than anything that having a baby would bring.
